Quote from Prokudin: "The children's library. Six in the morning. A direct hit by a shell. The barbarians have destroyed the Kherson book collection, which for years delighted the youngest visitors and their parents."
Details: Prokudin added that no one was injured and promised that the library building would definitely be repaired.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that several fires broke out at various locations in Kherson as a result of the Russian attack: a residential building, a car, and an outbuilding were ablaze.
"The firefighters had to go back to extinguishing [the fires] several times due to the constant repeated shelling, but all the fires were put out," the Ministry of Internal Affairs concluded.
