Kremlin steps up campaign to destroy children's Ukrainian identity in Russian-occupied territories

Ukraine’s National Resistance Center (NRC) has reported that the Kremlin has ordered local administrations to increase the number of local children involved in "brainwashing" programmes in Ukraine’s occupied territories.

Quote: "Interested schools have been instructed that 70% of their students should participate in Olympiads (science competitions) and exchange programmes. That is, children should be involved in trips to the Russian Federation and participate in competitions that glorify the Russian Federation."

Details: The NRC noted that children from first grade onwards are being drawn into such activities, starting with drawing competitions with a propaganda theme.

"The purpose of the entire action is to destroy children’s identity, which is a policy of genocide," the NRC said.
