Russians continue large-scale "meat-grinder" assaults on Avdiivka front

The Russians on the Avdiivka front continue to launch large-scale assaults using their personnel as cannon fodder, and are suffering huge losses of personnel and equipment.

Details: Urshalovych said the National Guard’s Omega special operations units are expertly performing reconnaissance, assault, sniper and counter-sniper operations on the outskirts of Avdiivka, inflicting losses on the occupiers around the clock.

Background:

• The Russians keep trying to encircle Avdiivka with aircraft support in the area of responsibility of the Tavriia Operational Strategic Group. The Russian forces have increased their attacks on Avdiivka in October.
• UK defence intelligence assessed that Russia has suffered some of its worst losses of 2023 near Avdiivka.
