Authorities plan mandatory evacuation of almost 300 children in Kharkiv Oblast
The authorities in Kharkiv Oblast have decided to evacuate children from 66 populated areas, some of them frontline settlements, on a mandatory basis.

Quote: "The mandatory evacuation of 275 children and their families from 66 settlements has been approved due to the difficult security situation in Kharkiv Oblast. It will be carried out from the Kindrashivka, Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Petropavlivka, Dvorichna and Vilkhuvatka hromadas in Kupiansk district in Kharkiv Oblast." [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Details: The evacuation is planned to be carried out within 45 days. The Ministry of Reintegration reports that children must be accompanied by one of their parents or a guardian. They will receive free shelter, humanitarian aid, mental health support and so on. Evacuation assembly and reception points have been set up.

Background: The Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration reported on 25 October that the mandatory evacuation of families with children would be announced in 10 settlements of Kharkiv Oblast.
