Air defence down 29 out of 38 Russian attack drones

Russian forces attacked Ukraine by launching several waves of Shahed attack drones on the night of 17-18 November. Ukraine’s Air Force has down 29 out of 38 UAVs.

Quote: "The Russian invaders were attacking Ukraine from the north and southeast (Kursk Oblast, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia) with Shahed UAVs from 20:00 on 17 November to 04:00 on 18 November 2023."

Details: The Air Force reported that a total of 38 attack drones were launched.

They specified that Shahed drones attacked in several waves, operating in groups across various Ukrainian oblasts within the areas of responsibility of all of the Air Force’s commands.

Aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile air defence fire teams of the Air Force and the Defence Forces were involved in repelling the air attack.

As a result of these combat operations, 29 attack UAVs were destroyed.
