Ukrainian marines gain ground on Kherson Oblast's left bank

Ukrainian marines have confirmed that the Defence Forces gained ground at several bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River on the Kherson front.

Details: The Navy reports that the Russians suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment during the fighting.

Quote: "Specifically, the enemy has lost personnel –  1,216 killed and 2,217 wounded – 24 tanks, 89 artillery systems and mortars, 135 units of various vehicles, 48 units of armoured combat vehicles, including armoured personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, 9 multiple launch rocket systems, 14 watercraft, 15 units of special equipment, 4 command posts, 29 ammunition storage points, both field and stationary, since the beginning of these operations.

In addition, 135 FPV drones and 5 tactical UAVs were destroyed by the combined EW unit of the marines." 

Details: Ukrainian marines keep inflicting fire damage on the eastern bank of Kherson Oblast and carrying out operations aimed at destroying the Russian forces.

Background:

On 8 November analysts have reported that the Ukrainian Defence Forces have deployed a limited number of armoured vehicles to the left (eastern) bank of Kherson Oblast.

On 13 November they have noted that Ukrainian troops have made some progress on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.
