Russians target Kherson: there are casualties, including a 15-year-old girl

The Russian army has carried out another large-scale attack on the centre of Kherson. So far, one person has been killed and eight wounded.

Details: According to Prokudin, among the victims are 15-year-old girl and her 52-year-old relative.

An ambulance took the injured to hospital.

Prokudin added that the information is still being clarified.

He also posted a recording where loud explosions are heard in the background. "The Russian army is carrying out a large-scale attack on Kherson," he added. 

Updated: Later, Mrochko said that a 75-year-old woman died as a result of the attack by Russian occupying forces. She was in her apartment at the time of the attack.

Updated: Later, Prokudin provided additional information. He reported that eight people have been wounded and one person has been killed as a result of the Russian attack on Kherson.

According to Prokudin, in the evening, the Russians targeted the residential areas of the Tsentralnyi (Central) and Dniprovskyi districts of the city. Buildings, cars, gas stations and a car wash have been damaged as a result. 

A 75-year-old woman who was in her own apartment during the attack received mortal injuries.

The youngest person wounded is a 15-year-old child. She came under fire along with her 52-year-old relative. Both injured were hospitalised.

Four more citizens were taken to hospital. These are two women, aged 39 and 63, along with two men, aged 63 and 46.

Two Kherson residents, aged 60 and 63, received medical assistance on the spot.

Background:

• The Russians attacked Kherson on the morning of 16 November, killing a pensioner.
• In the afternoon, there was information about another attack. Russian forces targeted the settlement of Bilozerka near Kherson. A critical infrastructure facility was destroyed, and people were killed and injured as a result of the strike.
