Zelenskyy: Ukraine helping with evacuation of foreign citizens from Gaza

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed in his evening address that Ukraine is helping with the evacuation of citizens from the Gaza Strip.

Background:

• On 7 November, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that 36 Moldovan citizens had been evacuated from the Gaza Strip to Moldova, and thanked Romania and Ukraine for their assistance in this regard.
• Earlier, Ukraine reportedly evacuated 160 more of its citizens and 9 citizens of Moldova from the Gaza Strip.
