236 children evacuated from Kupiansk hromada
A total of 236 children have been evacuated from Kupiansk hromada [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] as part of the forced evacuation, and 55 more remain there.

Quote: "We have already evacuated 236 children from Kupiansk hromada. The evacuation is difficult, as some families are determined to stay, but we continue to emphasise that they should leave. There is no other way, our task is to get children out of dangerous areas."
Details: Syniehubov said that 55 children remain to be evacuated from Kupiansk hromada to safe places as part of the ongoing forced evacuation.
Background:
- Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration reported on 25 October that it was preparing a decision on the mandatory evacuation of families with children from 10 settlements.
- It became known on 2 November that Kharkiv Oblast authorities decided to carry out a mandatory evacuation of children together with their parents or guardians from 66 settlements, including those near the frontline.
