National Police tells love story of a soldier in the Liut (Rage) brigade
Anatolii, a soldier of the Safari assault regiment of the National Police, and his beloved Natalia got married while staying in the combat zone.
The couple’s love story began on the school benches, the National Police noted.
"They studied at school together, but they did not dare to approach each other and admit to their feelings for each other. In 2021, they accidentally met on one of the beaches of Skadovsk. After that, they started talking.
On 24 February 2022, the first person who Anatolii called on the phone was his beloved. The future fighter proposed to her, so that they would live as a family and go through all the trials of war together," the police said.
After the formation of the Liut (Rage) brigade, Anatolii, as a former policeman, joined the ranks of the Tsunami regiment. The couple then decided that the wedding should take place at the front, as the bride followed her chosen one.
The National Police said that the frontline wedding took place in accordance with all the traditions: the groom was in a military uniform, and the bride was in a snow-white dress.
The couple’s marriage was witnessed by Oleksandr Netrebko, the commander of the Liut brigade, and the solemn ceremony was conducted by Oleksandr Hostishchev, the commander of the Tsunami regiment.
