Russians want to recapture Kupiansk, but have no strategic success – Ukraine's Ground Forces Commander
Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has reported that the Russians have set a goal of recapturing Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast.

Details: Syrskyi said that the Defence Forces are putting up serious resistance to the Russian invaders and thwarting their attempts to advance.
Background: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Synkivka, Ivanivka (Kharkiv Oblast) and Nadiia (Luhansk Oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 10 Russian attacks in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group on the Kupiansk front.
