Russia throws reserves north of Bakhmut to deter advance of Ukraine's Defence Forces
The Russian military is trying to prevent the Defence Forces from advancing north of Bakhmut.

Quote: "Now intense fighting continues there (in the area of Bakhmut – ed.).
The enemy continues to use counteroffensive units on this front to prevent us from developing our offensive, from entering the operational space, and from liberating this flank.
They use all their available forces and reserves because they understand that the loss of this flank can still have quite different consequences for them".
Details: As Yevlash said, the Defence Forces are "now trying to inflict maximum damage on the enemy there."
