Russian occupation officials say missiles hit Crimea; social media users claim strike on Dzhankoi
The Russian Ministry of Defence has claimed that its forces intercepted a Ukrainian missile strike on Russian-occupied Crimea. Social media users have reported explosions in the Crimean city of Dzhankoi.

Details: The Russian Ministry of Defence said that Ukrainian forces deployed an "S-200 anti-aircraft missile modified for attack" around 18:00 on Saturday, 7 October.
The Russian Defence Ministry claimed that its air defence forces intercepted the Ukrainian missile, destroying it.
An air-raid warning was issued in Sevastopol. Social media reports suggest air-raid sirens were also heard at the Dzhankoi airfield.
A subscriber told Crimean Wind that "an explosion of some sort occurred in Dzhankoi".
Residents of Chornomorske, Krasnoperekopsk and Dzhankoi districts also reported hearing a loud explosion; a missile’s trail was visible in the sky.
