Russian so-called "authorities" dismantle a replica Statue of Liberty in Crimea, explaining this by "Russophobic policies of the United States".

Details: It is reported that a copy of the New York landmark stood in the Park of Miniatures in Bakhchysarai, Crimea.

Its director said that they decided to remove the statue because of the "aggressive and Russophobic US policy".

Quote: "We moved the statue to the far end of the park. Let it calmly wait there until the US authorities come to their senses."

More details: The dismantling was attended by Vladimir Konstantinov, the former "chairman" of the Supreme Council of Crimea. During the occupation of the peninsula by Russia in 2014, he sided with the Russians and now heads the so-called "State Council of the Republic of Crimea".
