UN Security Council to discuss humanitarian situation in Ukraine on Tuesday
The UN Security Council will meet on Tuesday to discuss the humanitarian situation in Ukraine caused by Russia's full-scale invasion.

Details: The news agency reported that Ecuador and France initiated the meeting after consulting with the Ukrainian delegation.
The Security Council secretariat stated that a representative of the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs is expected to speak about the needs of Ukrainians in the winter, as well as the recent assessment by the UN Environment Programme of the environmental consequences of the blowing-up of the Kakhovka dam by Russian forces.
Members of the Security Council, including Albania, France, Japan, Malta, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, are also expected to condemn Russia for targeting Ukraine's civilian infrastructure.
The Security Council meeting will begin at 10:00 EDT (16:00 Kyiv time) following a brief discussion of the situation in Somalia.
