Ukrainian forces kill 800 more Russian soldiers and destroy 2 air defence systems and 44 artillery pieces
Russia has lost about 800 soldiers, 28 armoured combat vehicles, 7 tanks, 44 artillery systems, 5 multiple launch rocket systems, 2 air defence systems and 27 military vehicles in the war against Ukraine over the past 24 hours.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 25 October 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

- 5,112 (+7) tanks
- 9,697 (+28) armoured combat vehicles
- 7,125 (+44) artillery systems
- 833 (+5) multiple-launch rocket systems
- 554 (+2) air defence systems
- 320 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
- 324 (+0) helicopters
- 5,372 (+9) tactical UAVs
- 1,538 (+1) cruise missiles
- 20 (+0) ships and boats
- 1 (+0) submarines
- 9,474 (+27) vehicles and tankers
- 1,007 (+1) special vehicles and other equipment
The information is being confirmed.
The Ukrainian General Staff stated in its morning report on 25 October: "The Ukrainian Air Force carried out 13 strikes on clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment and 3 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems belonging to the Russians over the past 24 hours."
Furthermore, units from Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery destroyed 12 artillery pieces, a logistics hub, a command post, an air defence asset and hit two clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment.
