Details: Reuters stated that the Pentagon told members of Congress  at a briefing on Wednesday that the Iron Dome systems are planned to be returned to Israel on lease, while the United States remains their owner.

As a congressional aide said, the transfer of the systems to Israel could take place within days. The Pentagon was considering and testing them as a way to protect the territory of Guam from Chinese missiles.

Reuters also reported that US President Joe Biden would ask Congress for an additional US$100 billion in funding, including US$60 billion for Ukraine and US$14 billion for Israel.
