Russians attack Kherson and Kharkiv: wounded reported
Russian forces attacked Kharkiv Oblast and Kherson on the morning of 2 October. In Kherson, a 59-year-old woman was wounded in the morning, and two girls aged 12 and 13 were taken to hospital at night due to Russian fire. Kharkiv Oblast was previously targeted with S-300s, and there is no information on casualties.

Details: Syniehubov reported that the Russians are attacking Kharkiv Oblast. He called on residents of Kharkiv and the oblast to stay in shelters.
He stated that the Russians launched at least five strikes beyond the city of Kharkiv, and strikes of S-300 anti-aircraft missiles have been detected. As per the information available at the moment, there were no casualties. All emergency services are working at the scenes.
In addition, Russian forces have renewed attacks on Kherson: "Powerful explosions are being heard in the city".
Mrochko urged people not to go out unnecessarily: "Stay in safe places".
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Oblast Military Administration, said that the Russians damaged houses, shops, a manufacturing workshop of an industrial facility, a kindergarten, a secondary school, a gas pipeline, a business centre, a humanitarian aid centre, a church and an ambulance station in the city of Kherson.

An air-raid warning was issued in the east of the country. At the moment, the warning is in place in the contact-line areas.
