Israel attacks Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has said it launched attacks against Hezbollah's facilities in Lebanon.

Quote: "Over the past few hours, the IDF has struck Hezbollah’s targets along the Lebanese border. This was a response to Wednesday's attack."

Details: The IDF added that an observation point with a sea view was among the attacked targets.

The IDF said Hezbollah had launched missiles against Rosh HaNikra from this location.

• On 13 October, Reuters and Al Jazeera journalists came under fire during their work in Lebanon, with one man killed and three wounded.
• A Reuters cameraman was killed and six other journalists were injured.
• The Lebanese movement Hezbollah claimed that it was "fully prepared" to join Hamas in a war against Israel when the time comes.
• IDF said it launched a retaliatory attack against Hezbollah's military infrastructure in Lebanon.
