Palestinian president tells Biden he rules out evacuation of Palestinians from Gaza

US President Joe Biden has held separate phone conversations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Details: Netanyahu told Biden that "unity and determination" are necessary to achieve Israel's military objectives against Hamas rulers in Gaza. Netanyahu's office also added that he thanked Biden for his support.

Abbas' office said the Palestinian leader told Biden that he ruled out moving Palestinians out of Gaza amid Israel’s response to Hamas' attack on its territory.
