Israel Defence Forces eliminate Hamas militant responsible for attacks on 7 October
The Israel Defence Forces have reported that their fighter aircraft have killed Merad Abu Merad, who was one of the main people responsible for the attack on the country on 7 October.

Details: The Israeli military said IDF fighters launched large-scale strikes throughout the Gaza Strip on Saturday night.
They reported that dozens of Hamas targets were destroyed and Hamas militants killed.
Quote: "Furthermore, over the past day, IDF fighter jets struck operational headquarters used by the Hamas terrorist organisation from which the terrorist organisation's aerial activity was managed.
During the strike, IDF fighter jets killed Merad Abu Merad who was the head of the Hamas Aerial System in Gaza City, and was largely responsible for directing terrorists during the massacre on Saturday."
More details: The IDF also stressed that they prevented an attempt by a group of militants to enter the country from Lebanon.
