Zelenskyy arrives in Odesa and holds meeting with military and local authorities

On Friday, 13 October, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Odesa, where he held a meeting with the military, law enforcement officers, and local authorities.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Odesa. I held a meeting with the military leadership, heads of law enforcement agencies and local authorities regarding the situation in the city and the oblast. The focus is on preparing for winter, protecting our people, infrastructure and energy from Russian terror."

Details: According to him, preparations for the heating season, the protection of energy facilities, the consequences of Russian shelling of the port infrastructure, and the need for the air defence system were discussed in detail. 

"We are working both at home, in Ukraine, and with partners to provide more protection fotthe state and people," the president noted.
