Russians hit Nikopol twice, wounding two firefighters

On the afternoon of 13 October, Russian invaders opened fire on Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, wounding two firefighters during a second attack.

Details: It is reported that at noon, Nikopol emergency services received a report of a fire caused by a Russian attack.

A minibus at a temporary bus stop was on fire. Firefighters started to extinguish it, only for the Russians to open fire again.

 

Two firefighters received shrapnel wounds and were taken to hospital.

A fire and rescue vehicle was also damaged.

Background: On 12 October, the Russians attacked Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with heavy artillery and a kamikaze drone. Two hotels, a high-rise building and nine houses were damaged in Nikopol itself. Five outbuildings and a garage were damaged. There was also damage to gas pipelines and a power transmission line.
