Ukraine's Army Chief has first conversation with new US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman
Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief, has reported having his first telephone conversation with Charles Brown, the new Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Quote from Zaluzhnyi: "I briefed my counterpart in detail on the current state of affairs, the operational situation at the front, and our steps in defence and offence. I informed him of the enemy's intensified actions and likely plans in certain areas."
Details: The parties discussed the immediate needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including air defence assets, artillery systems and projectiles, as well as the training and recovery of Ukrainian units.
"I expressed my gratitude for the next military assistance package announced by the United States earlier. General Brown voiced assurances of support for Ukraine and fruitful cooperation in the fight against Russian aggression," Zaluzhnyi concluded.
