Western leaders and ambassadors honour Ukrainian defenders
Senior Western officials and ambassadors have posted greetings for Ukraine's defenders to celebrate 1 October, the Day of Defenders of Ukraine.

More details: Katarina Mathernova, the new EU ambassador to Ukraine, posted a photo from the official ceremony at which President Zelenskyy presented awards to defenders of Ukraine, some posthumously, noting that it was very moving.
