Biden looks forward seeing Zelenskyy in near future – Blinken
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is on a visit to Kyiv, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Details: Blinken noted that US President Joe Biden asked him to come to Ukraine to "reaffirm strongly our support".
He stressed that the United States, together with other countries, is stepping up efforts "for the immediate challenge of the counteroffensive", as well as for long-term efforts in support of Ukraine.
"I know you were just on the front lines, and we’re all very eager to hear your assessment. And certainly we see the important progress that’s being made now in the counteroffensive, and that’s very, very encouraging," the Secretary of State said.
He added that Joe Biden also expects to meet with Zelenskyy in the near future.
Zelenskyy thanked Blinken for the visit, emphasising its importance during a full-scale war.
