Blinken arrives in Kyiv
Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State, has arrived in Kyiv on an official visit.

Details: It was reported on the morning of 6 September that Blinken had arrived in Kyiv.
On Wednesday, 5 September, the media unofficially found out that Blinken might visit Ukraine. The Department of State refused to comment on this information.
Background: Russia launched another air attack on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, on the night of 5-6 September. The all-clear was given just a few hours before Blinken's arrival, with air defence downing all targets flying toward the capital.
