Kremlin claims to be unaware of Kadyrov's condition
The Kremlin has no information about the illness of Ramzan Kadyrov, Russian-controlled Head of Chechnya, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has said. However, a Russian journalist reported that Kadyrov is ill and needs frequent haemodialysis. (Chechnya is a federal subject of Russia; the Ukrainian parliament has recognised it as the temporarily Russian-occupied territory of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria.)

Quote from Peskov: "We have no information on this matter. The Presidential Administration is unlikely to issue health certificates."
Details: For his part, Russian journalist Venediktov said Kadyrov has "typical severe renal failure", so he "needs frequent haemodialysis", which "is obviously what is happening in the Central Clinical Hospital [Moscow]".
He also posted a document dated 3 July stating that Kadyrov was going on vacation, and added that there had been no reports that the Chechen leader had come back from his leave.
Background: Lately, information about Kadyrov's severe illness has emerged on Telegram channels. They said he had fallen into a coma and even died.
On 17 September, apparently, in order to refute these reports, a video of Kadyrov walking in a park was posted on his Telegram channel. However, where and when this recording was made is unknown.
