Russians conduct offensive near Andriivka, Avdiivka and Marinka to no avail – General Staff
The Russians were trying to take back the positions they lost near the settlement of Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast and were conducting offensive actions near the settlement of Avdiivka, but to no avail. The Ukrainian forces have successfully repelled almost 10 Russian attacks near the settlement of Marinka.

Details: A total of 25 combat encounters between the Ukrainian and Russian forces occurred during the day. Russia launched another attack on Ukraine from air-based cruise missiles and Shahed-136/131 combat UAVs. As a result of combat work, six cruise missiles and six Shahed drones were destroyed by Ukraine’s air defence. In total Russians launched 15 missile and 44 air attacks, as well as 35 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian forces and settlements.
The operative situation remains complicated in the east and south of Ukraine.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts there have been no changes to the operative situation, and there have been no signs of formation of Russian offensive groupings either. Separate units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing combat missions near the border with Ukraine.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts the Russians maintain their military presence in border regions and continue launching attacks on Ukrainian settlements from the Russian territory. The air strikes were launched near the settlements of Hirky, Pavlivka and Popivka in Sumy Oblast. Over 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire of the Russians, including Halahanivka, Hremiach in Chernihiv Oblast; Seredyna-Buda, Koreniok, Volfyne, Myropillia, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy Oblast; Ivashky, Kozacha Lopan, Nesterne and Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast.
On the Kupiansk front the Russians launched an air strike near the settlement of Nadiia in Luhansk Oblast and launched attacks on the settlements of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast from artillery.
On the Lyman front the Russians did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. Air strikes were launched near the settlements of Terny, Torske, Siversk and Vesele in Donetsk Oblast. Over 10 settlements were attacked by the Russians, including Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Zarichne, Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske and Vesele in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut front the Defence Forces of Ukraine have successfully repelled five Russian attacks near the settlements of Klishchiivka and Bila Hora in Donetsk Oblast. The Russians were trying to take back the positions they lost near the settlement of Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast and launched air strikes near the settlements of Andriivka and New-York in Donetsk Oblast. Over 15 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire of the Russians, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Druzhba and Zalizne in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Avdiivka front the Russians were conducting offensive actions near the settlement of Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast to no avail. An airstrike was launched on this district. Artillery and mortar attacks were launched on about 10 settlements including Keramik, Stepove, Orlivka, Avdiivka, Sieverne and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Marinka front the Defence Forces successfully repelled almost 10 Russian attacks near the settlement of Marinka. The Russians were launching artillery and mortar attacks non-stop and launched an airstrike on this area as well. Such settlements as Krasnohorivka, Maksymilianivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast were also attacked.
On the Shakhtarsk front the Russians launched an airstrike near the settlement of Staromaiorske in Donetsk Oblast. Artillery and mortar attacks were launched on the settlements of Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Zaporizhzhia front the Russians launched air strikes near the settlements of Verbove, Robotyne and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Over 15 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire of the Russians, specifically Olhivske, Chervone, Huliaipole, Charivne, Novoandriivka and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
On the Kherson front the Russians launched air strikes near the settlements of Odradokamianka and Mykolaivka in Kherson Oblast. Nearly 10 settlements were attacked from artillery and mortars, including Novovorontsovka, Kachkarivka, Beryslav, Lvove and Kizomys in Kherson Oblast.
At the same time the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue conducting an offensive on the Melitopol front, offensive (assault) actions on the Bakhmut front, killing the Russian personnel and liberating the occupied territories step by step.
During the day the aircraft of the Defence Forces launched nine strikes on the areas where Russian personnel and military equipment were concentrated.
Units of Rocket Forces and Artillery struck two anti-aircraft systems, nine artillery systems, an ammunition storage and a radio-electronic warfare station of the Russians.
