Russians fire on border areas of Sumy Oblast 37 times

The Russians carried out 37 attacks on the border of Sumy Oblast on 16 September, with 217 strikes recorded.

Details: Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Seredyna-Buda, Yunakivka, Khotyn, Esman, Bilopillia, Miropillia and Znob-Novhorod hromadas were attacked (a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.).

• Velyka Pysarivka hromada: attacks were carried out from SPG-9 recoilless guns (8 strikes), AGS grenade launchers (20 strikes), mortars (55 strikes) and artillery (26 strikes);
• Krasnopillia hromada: the Russians carried out bombardments from mortars (11 strikes) and artillery (4 strikes). In addition, two unguided missiles were launched from an aircraft from the territory of the Russian Federation;
• Seredyna-Buda hromada: there were mortar attacks (3 strikes) and artillery shelling (5 strikes);
• Yunakivka hromada: three bombs were dropped by Russians on the territory of the hromada;
• Khotin hromada: a UAV dropped  two VOG rocket-propelled grenades that exploded in the air;
• Esman hromada: a UAV dropped a VOG round. Mortar attacks were also carried out (7 strikes);
• Myropillia hromada: mortar attacks were recorded in the area (12 strikes);
• Bilopillia hromada: mortar attacks (22 strikes) and SPG-9 attacks (6 strikes) were recorded;
• Znob-Novhorod hromada: the Russians fired from AGS (20 strikes).
