Russia changes air defence positions to protect Moscow from drones – UK intelligence
The UK Ministry of Defence has said that Russia has "recalibrated" its air defences around Moscow as the city faces almost daily drone attacks.

Quote: "In recent weeks, Russia has recalibrated the posture of its short and medium-range air defences around Moscow in an effort to more effectively defend against the uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks the city now experiences most days," the review says.
Details: Since the beginning of September 2023, Russian Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile systems have been deployed on elevated sites around the capital [Moscow]. Earlier, after strikes on airfields in Engels and Ryazan [Russia] in December 2022, Russia also deployed the Pantsir missile system on the roofs of official buildings in Moscow.
