Quote: "If we take the territory from Zaporizhzhia to Lyman, in some areas of the contact line, we can record 250-300 drones in the air at the same time."
Details: Pavlenko specified that this concerns different types of drones on both sides.
He said that as of 2022, most foreign experts had no idea of the scale of drone use in modern warfare.
Quote: "The understanding of the situation was along the lines of: Afghanistan, a base, and a small quadcopter in the distance. And it has to be detected and suppressed."
Details: Pavlenko added that the widespread use of drones is due to the fact that they are relatively inexpensive compared to, for example, the cost of a tank.
Secondly, drones are mass-produced and are highly functional.
He emphasised that the issue of increasing the effectiveness of electronic warfare has arisen proportionately because all drones need to be countered.
