State programme to pay over US$12 million of support for people who lost homes in war
Over 6,000 applicants will receive compensation for destroyed or damaged property totaling 463 million hryvnias [about US$12.6 million – ed.] within the framework of the Ukrainian state programme IeVidnovlennia (There Is Restoration).

Quote: "There are first results: almost 33,000 applications, nearly 6,000 of them approved, almost half a billion hryvnias have been paid. People are repairing their homes, and the mechanism is working."
Specifically, 740 applications for this aid have been submitted in Kyiv, with 344 of them being approved; 877 applications in the settlement of Bucha in Kyiv Oblast with 491 approved; 1,227 were applied in the settlement of Izium in Kharkiv Oblast with 519 approved; and 1,055 were applied in the city of Kherson in Kherson Oblast with 136 of them approved.
According to the Ministry of Reconstruction, 487,000 reports about damaged or destroyed property have been registered in the Diia (Action) application [a Ukrainian e-governance app that gives opportunity to store documents, conduct operations and submit applications online – ed.].
Background: People who have repaired their damaged homes at their expenses will be able to receive compensation – the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has introduced changes to the IeVidnovlennia Programme.
