The Russian animal trainer Edgard Zapashnyi began to train the tiger. It was Zapashnyi who reported the death of the animal. The man supports the war against Ukraine and spreads fakes and Kremlin narratives.
Zapashnyi said that the animal had congenital kidney problems. However, it is unknown why the tiger was taken to the circus despite the illness.
Edgard flaunted the small tiger cub on social media in May, but there are no further posts about the animal.
