Ukrainians who lost their vegetable harvest after destruction of Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant will be eligible to get up to US$2,706
The Cabinet of Ministers allocated money for payments to Ukrainians who lost their vegetable crop due to the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, amounting to UAH 3,300 [approx. US$89,33 - ed.] for each hundred square metres of land in a private garden.

Quote: "Today we passed a decision on payments to people in Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts who lost their crops due to the Russian terrorist attack at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant," the head of government stated.
Shmyhal stressed that as a result of the dam’s blowing up, many areas were flooded, and people lost their gardens and crops.
"We will help. We provide for payments in the amount of UAH 3,300 for the lost harvest of vegetables on each hundred square metres of land in a private garden," the prime minister stated.
The maximum amount of assistance for the lost harvest will be up to UAH 100,000 [approx. US$2,706 - ed.].
For these needs, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts will be provided with UAH 271 million [approx. US$7,335 million - ed.].
Background:
To overcome the consequences of the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant by the Russians, UAH 4.3 billion [approx. US$116,395 million - ed.] were allocated from the state budget.
