Attack on Kurakhove: body retrieved from under debris – Military Administration
At about 04:00 on 30 August, Russian forces launched a missile attack on the settlement of Kurakhove in Donetsk Oblast, striking a five-storey residential building. A body has been retrieved from under the debris, and eight people were injured.

Details: Padun stated that the Russian forces launched over five attacks on residential quarters in Kurakhove during the day. They shelled the central part of the settlement and residential areas with artillery.
A search and rescue operation has been ongoing at the site of the attack since Wednesday morning.
Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that as of 10:00, five women and two men have been injured in the attacks on Kurakhove.
Padun later told Suspilne about another casualty who had asked for help, and one person who had been killed, whose body was retrieved from under the rubble.
Quote: "As a result of the missile attack, one person has been killed and eight injured. There was a direct strike on an apartment block. The fourth and the fifth floors of the building have been destroyed."
Details: Padun said there was another attack on the afternoon of 30 August: Russian forces attacked the outskirts of the town some time after 14:00. No one was injured.
The Donetsk Oblast Directorate of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that a kindergarten caught fire due to one of the attacks: the fire engulfed an area of 200 sq. m, and 16 firefighters worked to put it out.
Padun also reported that on 30 August, the distribution of humanitarian aid was halted at all the distribution points in the district due to possible provocations by Russia and the threat of massive attacks.
