Ukrainian forces advance and gain ground near Novoprokopivka and Verbove
Ukrainian Defence Forces have made gains and are consolidating their positions in the areas of the settlements of Novodanylivka and Novoprokopivka, and Mala Tokmachka and Verbove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

They [the Ukrainian forces] have made progress in the Novodanilivka-Novoprokopivka and Mala Tokmachka-Verbove fronts, consolidating their positions, inflicting artillery fire on the identified enemy targets and carrying out counter-battery measures."
Details: The defenders are advancing further, south of the town of Bakhmut on the Bakhmut front, consolidating their positions.
Russian troops conducted offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Krasnohorivka and Marinka in Donetsk Oblast but to no avail. They faced significant losses among their military personnel, weapons and armoured vehicles; the Russians are shifting units and troops and actively using their reserves.
The Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to hold back the Russian offensive on the Kupiansk, Lyman and Bakhmut fronts.
The Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area in and around the settlements of Novoiehorivka and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Bohdanivka, Kurdiumivka, and Ozarianivka in Donetsk Oblast. Heavy fighting rages on.
