Farewell ceremony for pilot Juice held in Kyiv
A funeral ceremony is being held in Kyiv for a Ukrainian Air Force pilot, Andrii "Juice" Pilshchykov, who was tragically killed along with two other pilots in a plane crash in Zhytomyr Oblast on 25 August.

Details: Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, was among the attendees of the ceremony.
Earlier, Oleshchuk's order promoted both deceased Majors Viacheslav Minka and Serhii Prokazin to the rank of lieutenant colonel (posthumously), and Captain Andrii Pilshchykov was promoted to the rank of major (posthumously).
The Ukrainian Air Force pilots tragically killed in action in Zhytomyr Oblast on 25 August 2023 were also presented with state awards.

Pilshchykov was active in the Western media and lobbied for the provision of modern F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
