35 combat clashes took place over past day – General Staff report
Over the past day, 35 combat engagements took place at the front; the Ukrainian Defence Forces maintained their offensive on the Melitopol front, consolidating their positions.

Quote: "The Ukrainian Defence Forces maintain their offensive on the Melitopol front, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery efforts.
Over the past day, the Air Force made 10 strikes on areas where [Russian] personnel were concentrated and 1 strike on a Russian anti-aircraft missile system.
During the day, units of Rocket Forces and Artillery hit an anti-aircraft missile system and three Russian artillery pieces at firing positions.
Details: At the same time, during the day, the Russians launched 2 missile and 39 air strikes and carried out 72 attacks from multiple rocket launchers. The forces and means of the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed two Kalibr cruise missiles and one Shahed-136/131 attack UAV.
A total of 35 combat clashes took place during the day.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians carried out mortar and artillery attacks on more than 25 settlements.
On the Kupiansk front, the Russians launched airstrikes near Kyslivka and Pishchane (Kharkiv Oblast). Four settlements of Kharkiv Oblast came under artillery and mortar fire.
On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Novoiehorivka in Luhansk Oblast. They carried out airstrikes near Chervonyi Stav in Kharkiv Oblast, Tverdokhlibove, Makiivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Vesele in Donetsk Oblast.
More than 30 settlements came under Russian artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut front, the Russian forces conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Klishchiivka in Donetsk Oblast. More than 25 settlements were damaged by Russian artillery shelling.
On the Avdiivka front, the Russians carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast.
The settlements of Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk Oblast) came under artillery fire.
On the Marinka front, the Defence Forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops near Marinka in Donetsk Oblast. The Russians carried out an airstrike near Krasnohorivka in Donetsk Oblast.
The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Kurakhove, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka and Hostre in Donetsk Oblast came under artillery fire.
On the Shakhtarsk front, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops near Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast. The Russians carried out airstrikes near Vuhledar, Vremivka, Blahodatne, Staromaiorske and Urozhaine (Donetsk Oblast).
More than 10 settlements were damaged by Russian artillery shelling.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians carried out airstrikes near Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne and Novodanylivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast). More than 20 settlements were damaged by Russian artillery fire.
On the Kherson front, Khreshchenivka, Dmytrivka, Mykilske, Kherson and Dniprovske (Kherson Oblast) came under Russian artillery fire.
