Ukraine's counteroffensive is difficult, but progresses every day – Ukraine's National Security Secretary

Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council, has said the Ukrainian counteroffensive is difficult, but Ukraine’s defenders are advancing every day.

Details: Danilov noted that the counteroffensive is a very complex operation, but is taking place according to the approved plan.

Quote: "If someone thought that this [the counteroffensive – ed.] would be some kind of walk in the park and we can immediately achieve the goals we set ourselves, including the liberation of all our territories, then keep in mind that the enemy is powerful; the enemy has a certain system of defensive and protective structures that it has built there."

Details: Danilov said Ukraine’s Armed Forces offensive is taking place in such a way as to keep as many Ukrainian soldiers alive and unharmed as possible.
