Lithuanian president visits kindergarten in Irpin, completely rebuilt at Lithuanian expense
As part of his visit to Ukraine, Gitanas Nausėda, the Lithuanian President, visited a kindergarten in Irpin, which was badly damaged during the first month of the large-scale invasion by Russia and was restored at Lithuanian expense.

Details: Kindergarten Ruta was officially opened after restoration on the Independence Day of Ukraine.
Quote: "The appalling war crimes committed here didn't break Ukrainian determination to live in freedom and peace, to fight for the future of their children," Gitanas Nausėda said.
Details: As reported by Ukrinform, the restoration work lasted 6.5 months, and the project budget was about €4.5 million. Lithuania fully funded the restoration.
The Lithuanian delegation and representatives of local authorities examined the kindergarten after repairs. It has play areas with new toys, a kitchen, sports grounds, a bomb shelter, an alert system, a fire alarm system and video surveillance.
