The Prime Minister says that the model consists of five key points.

The first is to turn Crimea into a new tourist centre of Europe. This envisages a new hotel infrastructure and new public spaces under the Krym365 brand.

The second is re-connection of Crimea with Ukraine, Europe and the rest of the world.

Quote: "[We consider] the peninsula a part of the European transport space, integrated into TEN-T. Construction of four highways, two airports of international level, dismantling of the Crimean bridge for safe navigation in the Black and Azov seas," Shmyhal said.

The third is to integrate Crimea into the ENTSO-E system. In addition, it is planned to develop the Black Sea gas shelf with the involvement of the latest technologies. Thanks to this, Crimea will become a net exporter of energy resources.

The fourth is the development of the agricultural sector. The government is preparing a project to restore the Kakhovka HPP for irrigation in Ukraine's south.

"We will bet on small farms, we will scale the YeRobota ("There is a job") program to support viticulture in Crimea," Shmyhal added.

The fifth is the creation of a European and world-class IT hub on the peninsula. Special regime for attracting investments in science, education and innovation.

The Prime Minister emphasised that Crimea should become the Ukrainian Silicon Valley.
