Two drones downed over Sumy Oblast, air defence responding in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the afternoon of 23 August, Ukraine's air defence forces were responding in Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, and two attack drones were shot down over Sumy Oblast.

Details: Explosions were heard at around 12:00 and 12:39 in the city of Sumy, Suspilne correspondents reported.
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that air defence is operating in Sumy Oblast.
Later, the Air Force reported missile danger and operation of air defence in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
At the same time, Poltava Oblast was warned about missile danger and the threat of attack UAVs being used.
Update: At 13:02, Sumy Oblast Military Administration reported that air defence forces had shot down two Russian Shahed UAVs over Sumy Oblast.
