AEROK owns two aerated concrete plants in Kyiv Oblast, in Obukhiv and Berezan.
In May of last year, the State Bureau of Investigation established that the building materials manufacturing company was controlled by Russian oligarch Molchanov. The businessman is a former member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, close to the occupation authorities, and a Russian taxpayer.
The profits made by the Ukrainian company AEROK LLC were sent in the form of dividends and royalties to the so-called "parent company" in Russia.
"The Russian business is a major taxpayer in the aggressor country. Therefore, the funds received from the Ukrainian company were used to pay taxes and fees into the coffers of the occupying country, and finance its power bloc and defence industry during aggression against our state," the law enforcement officers stressed.
The company's assets were seized and transferred to be managed by the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).
