Ukraine's government allocates $9.5 million to energy firms in preparation for heating season

Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has allocated 350 million hryvnias (approximately US$9.5 million) to support energy firms in preparing for the upcoming heating season.

Details: "We are helping to rebuild critical energy infrastructure facilities after Russian attacks. Today we are allocating 350 million hryvnias to the Ministry of Energy to support energy firms," Shmyhal said.

He added that the funds will be used to help energy firms with the loans they have taken out to repair damaged equipment and to get through the heating season.
