Quote: "Artificial intelligence, a maximum payload of 2.5 kg and automatic flight mode: the Defence Ministry has approved domestic SkyKnight UAVs for military use."
Details: The SkyKnight 2 drone manufacturing company submitted its development to the Defence Ministry during the start of the accelerated procedure for registration of admission to operation.
The Defence Ministry noted that it accompanied the company in the process of drawing up the necessary documentation.
Quote: "SkyKnight 2 is pretty fast, powerful and quiet at the same time. It is very easy to operate. If the operator has piloting skills on DJI, Autel, and stabilised platforms, they will learn how to use SkyKnight 2 very quickly, approximately in a week.
When the operator determines which target to hit, the drone will fly to it in automatic mode as the on-board computer will already control it [the drone – ed.].
This drone will still fly to the target determined by the operator even through loss of communication due to the enemy's electronic warfare (EW) system operation."
