Russian attack on Sumy Oblast: over 120 strikes recorded in past 24 hours
During 18 August, Russian forces targeted Sumy Oblast 22 times, 124 strikes were recorded; civilian infrastructure was damaged.

Details: Mortar attacks (13 strikes) and artillery shelling were recorded in Seredyna Buda hromada [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed.]. As a result of one of the attacks, a private house, a truck crane, two cars, warehouses, a gas station, a hangar, and a power line were damaged.
The Russians fired at Bilopillia hromada from mortars (6 strikes).
Russians dropped 16 mines on the territory of Khotyn hromada, a private house was damaged as a result of one of the attacks.
The Russian forces fired at Velyka Pysarivka hromada from artillery (8 strikes) and mortars (12 strikes).
They also attacked Krasnopillia hromada with artillery (9 strikes). As a result of the shelling, the warehouses of an agricultural enterprise were destroyed.
Mortar attacks (7 strikes) and artillery shelling (6 strikes) were carried out on Shalyhine hromada.
In Esman hromda, 10 strikes from automatic grenade launchers and 4 strikes from mortars were recorded.
The Russians dropped 13 mines on the territory of Mykolaiv hromada.
They also targeted the Znob-Novhorod hromada with mortars (4 strikes).
