Victory in war will come when Russia gets out of Ukraine completely – US State Department
The US State Department has said that Ukraine's victory in the war would be the withdrawal of all Russian troops from its territory.

Quote: "So next week, on August 24th, Ukrainians will mark the 32-year anniversary of their declaration of independence from the Soviet Union. This will also be Ukraine’s second Independence Day since Russia’s full-scale, illegal, and unprovoked invasion began in February 2022. As we approach the 18-month mark of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, let us remember President Biden’s words when he said that winning the war in Ukraine is to get Russia out of Ukraine completely."
Details: Patel added that the US supports efforts to achieve "a just and lasting peace, Ukraine is and will remain an independent, sovereign, democratic, and prosperous nation."
He once again emphasised that the US and its allies will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary so that Ukraine can defend itself against Russian aggression and "be in the strongest possible position at the negotiating table when the time comes."
