Russians bombard Sumy Oblast 23 times in one day: destruction observed
The Russians carried out 23 bombardments of Sumy Oblast on 17 August. 138 explosions were recorded. A private residential building, a family home, two shops, and non-residential buildings were damaged.

Details: The Russians fired mortars (15 explosions) and artillery (55 explosions) on the Krasnopillia hromada [hromada – an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories]. As a result of the bombardment, a private residential building, a garage, a bathhouse, a barn, non-residential buildings, two shops, a car, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
An attack involving the use of grenade launchers (4 explosions) occurred in Svesa hromada.
There were mortar attacks (7 explosions) on Seredyna Buda hromada.
Mortar bombs (17 explosions) were fired at Velyka Pysarivka hromada. Additionally, 2 Russian airstrikes were recorded (12 explosions).
The Russians hit Novoslobidske hromada with mortars (9 explosions).
A mortar (14 explosions) and an anti-tank gun (5 explosions) were fired at Bilopillia hromada. As a result of the mortar attack, a family home and a power line were damaged.
