2 IRIS-T missile systems have arrived in Ukraine – Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that two IRIS-T missile systems Germany pledged to Ukraine have arrived in Ukraine.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "Today I would like to draw attention to our cooperation with Germany. Our agreements with Chancellor Scholz are being implemented, step by step. Two new IRIS-T launchers have been delivered to Ukraine."
Details: Zelenskyy said that IRIS-T is a "powerful and much-needed" air defence system. He thanked Germany for helping Ukraine defend itself from Russian terror.
Background:
- On 17 August, The German government announced a new tranche of military aid to Ukraine, which included two IRIS-T launchers.
- Germany supplied Ukraine with two Patriot air defence systems in an earlier tranche of military aid.
